Entryway Remodel Ideas 2026: Modern Solutions for Split-Level and Split-Entry Homes

Creating an entry space that is contemporary, functional, and inviting has never been as significant, and as houses designed in split level, split entry, raised ranch, and split foyer designs have increasingly become a focus in 2026. However, what is the next step in the development of entryway remodel concepts? How do house owners uplift transitional spaces, redesign staircase patterns or develop interesting entryway remodel before and after changes? This article will discuss the future-centric ideas, intelligent designs, and the newest resources that will transform the entry upgrades in the coming year. You need a small remodeling of an entryway, or want to do a remodeling of an entryway on the cheap, or have big plans including a remodeling that is dramatic, you will find ideas here that can take your project in a realistic, modern direction.
Split Level Entryway Transformations for Modern Living
By 2026 the split level entryways will shift to clean structural lines, expansion of natural light, and minor adjustments of the architecture that will make the transition between the floor levels look smooth. Flow between upper and lower levels through the enhancement of lighting and expansion of sightlines is my priority when I am facing a split level project. The issue of the dual-direction staircase generally assumes the role of an anchor in this remodel, and therefore, there is need to strike a balance between functionality and beauty. The entry is much more convenient in real-life situations by updating the railings, updating the wall texture, and incorporating an in-built storage.

The warm-colored woods, rail systems that are not glossy, oversized entry flooring, simple console tables, and hidden shoe-storage benches are included in the design of these spaces. These are used to base the space and direct the eye either up-the-ladder or down the ladder. Better lighting, particularly when combined with recessed lamps and statement pendants is also essential since split levels tend to have a problem with shadows. Flow and organization of the interior should be in support of every piece added to the interior.

Personally, I find that homeowners like the entry to have a purpose instead of it being a pass-through. Many designers such as Nate Berkus tend to stress about the fact that the entrance determines the emotional mood of the entire house, and I do not disagree with him, particularly with split level designs, where the first impressions count. I also discover that a slight renovation like wall paneling or a new flooring system would greatly improve the functionality of a building without complete renovation.
And in case there is something to be added to this segment, it is the greater stress on the emotional bond formed by lighting and materials. I would further recommend a more intense inclusion of textural contrast, i.e. stone, warm wood, or fluted wall treatment, to give the entry level of sensory excitement.
Fresh Approaches to Updating a Split Entry Home
A split entry house of today is much more advantageous in terms of the defined spatial transits and symmetrical design indicators that make the upper and lower levels intertwined immediately as one enters the building. In developing split foyer remodel, entryway update project ideas, I target to beautify the landing of the entryway, polish the stairway concepts staircase remodel entryway interface, and enhance exterior visibility such that the initial steps in the place do not feel unnatural and instinctive. It is important to emphasize on vertical space since the split entry usually has a narrow foyer space.

I depend on use of slimline console tables, floating shelves, smooth wall hooks and narrow storage benches so as to avoid overcrowding. The palette of walls is neutral in order to increase the sense of space and the movement is directed by textured runners. In the case of the staircase, contemporary railing systems, whether it is black steel or white oak, add modernity. Glass panels can also be well used where the intention is open.

Over the years of observation of the requirements of the homeowners, I have observed that the best split entry updates make the user experience easier. The homeowner should also be in a position to enter, turn around, keep the necessities, and move around without any form of confusion. The significance of minimalism and personality balance, which is a significant part of these renovations, is commonly emphasized in popular magazines such as Architectural Digest.
The only thing that I would add to this part is the increased visual access between the upper main living space and lower flex spaces. The continuity and sophistication are provided by a unified color scheme or repeated wood tone on the different levels.
Raised Ranch Entryway Remodel Trends of 2026
Since raised ranch homes are being transformed once again, their front doors require new functionality and aesthetic definition. Since most of the ranch properties raised have narrow foyers, I will make sure that I maximize on what I can use; this is done by adding wall-mounted solutions and better circulation. The rising trend in the exterior entryway designs of ranches in 2026 will have sharp geometry, expansive front doors, and increased exterior light reflecting that altogether create a superior movement between the outside and inside.

Within the entrance, I choose pieces of furniture that serve two purposes: slim bench seating, storage in the interior of the bench, floating storage cabinets to store mail or keys, mirrors with LED lights to increase light. The flooring is very important in raised ranch plans and thus I use durable porcelain tiles or engineered wood which could withstand high traffic levels as well as having a classy look. The staircase tends to have polished natural treads with contemporary railing.

As a professional, I have always been fascinated by the ability to change an old ranch into a timeless one in a few intelligent additions. Designers such as Emily Henderson point out how functional upgrades combined with small luxuries, such as a statement jewel, can redefine the experience of a small entrance.
What is to be added in this case is a greater insistence on the exterior-to-interior relationship. Think about having coordinated planters, a contemporary address plaque, or a covered stoop appearance, to be coherent.
Innovative Staircase Designs That Elevate the Entry Experience
Entryway staircase remodel can in many cases be the most effective section of the remodel of the old home layout especially split level entryway remodel exterior projects in which the stairs are the defining factor. In 2026, I envision more applications of the sculptural feature, such as streamlined floating treads, built-in lighting strips, and specially designed handrails making functional looks into art. In situations where the use of stairs forms the initial architectural point of focus of the home, the design will be of utmost importance.

I would recommend the use of durable and contrasting material. Wood and metal, glass and natural stone or warm oak and white walls are all excellent mixes. Other built-in lighting features may be incorporated in the steps or in the railing to increase safety and elegance. Where space permits I have a stair-landing bench or feature wall to liven it up.

Based on experience, staircase transformations lead to a radical change in the way the homeowners see their entire interior. Authors, such as Dwell, often highlight the idea that staircases are vertical connectors that determine the movement and experience of people, and this aspect is just the way I work.
What I would include is a discussion of acoustics and how the noise can be softened by the use of carpet runners or textured wall coverings- a benefit that is also frequently ignored in staircase remodels.

Split Foyer Remodel Ideas for a Stylish First Impression
In the case of split foyer layouts, the dilemma is to ensure that a small landing appears not accidental, but welcoming and useful. The homeowners in 2026 are gravitating towards the airy neutrals, glass railing upgradations, and intelligent decor positioning to make these small spaces appear bigger. In the remodelling of a split foyer entry, I would strive to give a feeling of balance between upper and lower visibility, as well as secure staircase navigation on both steps.

My design will involve a slim panel on the wall, smooth sconces, stacked lighting, and long lasting flooring that links with each other in levels. Perceived height can be increased with a tall vertical mirror and the modern storage systems such as built-in wall niches provide additional functionality where there is a lack of square feet. Harmony is guaranteed in the selection of a harmonious color palette.
In my professional life, split foyers can be the most rewarding as sometimes tiny modifications can produce epic changes. A common commentary by many designers is that lighting is a more significant part of foyers, than most homeowners anticipate and I tend to agree with the comment. A strategically placed sconce or pendant would help re-invent the atmosphere of this passageway.
I would provide further details in this part regarding the ceiling treatment. The slightest components of architectural changes such as beadboard or thin wood slats can add depth without cluttering a small foyer.
Stairs Makeover Concepts for a More Inviting Entry
Stairs renovation can change the functionality and aesthetics particularly when entryway staircase remodel upgrades are to be planned or the old surfaces updated. In 2026, I will add tactile finishes, slight blocking of colors and grand designs of railings to ensure that the stairs create the impression as soon as one enters the house. They are also effective with split level remodel entryway remodelling where two primary areas are covered by stairs.

My usual tips to help in the choice of material include hardwood treads, black railings that are matte, and contrasting riser colors to make them interesting. Carpet runners are a perceptive option when it comes to families that desire the comfort and lower noise. Practicality can be added with under-stair storage or with a built up bench. Lighting should not be ignored, which can be in the form of pendants, sconces or LED step strips.

Stairs are some of the simplest to modernize in professional opinion without making any significant structural alterations. Design professionals in the magazines such as House Beautiful always insist on the importance of replacing the railings initially because that immediately alters the perception of the whole entrance.
In order to make this section even more effective, I would include some aspects of safety, particularly in terms of households that have children or are older people, the use of non-slip finishes, rounded edges, or robust balusters.
Entryway Remodel Ideas Shaping 2026 Home Design
The key trends in remodel of an entrance that will happen in 2026 are multifunctional organization, warm minimalism, and the lack of a sharp contrast between the outside and inside. Homeowners appreciate rooms that accommodate daily activities and yet leave a classy reception. In the application in split entry remodel entryway exterior schemes or in the interior changes in contemporary buildings, the trend is to make it simple without losing the character.

I place an emphasis on versatile items like modular benches, hidden shelves, coat systems mounted on walls, and other decoration that adds texture to the room without distracting. The durability of the flooring and the quality of the lighting are in the very centre of every design. The aesthetic direction of this year is characterized by natural woods, soft plaster finishes, and accents made of brushed metal.

As an experience, the doorway usually depicts the lifestyle of the household more than any other room. Such magazines as Better Homes and Gardens emphasize that the structured access points are directly proportional to more comfortable everyday practices, and I can observe this all the time in homes of clients.
The only thing that is to be included here is more emphasis on smart-home integrations. Light-free touch, smart locks, and motion-activated sconces can be used to make contemporary doorways more efficient and convenient.
Inspiring Entryway Remodel Before and After Transformations
Working on entryway remodel before and after the projects, the most interesting thing is to see how the minimal changes may transform the first impression of a home entirely. In 2026, the residential consumer is welcoming changes that incorporate simplicity and high design. I tend to begin with the analysis of the traffic, natural lighting, and architectural restrictions. The change is practical and aesthetically appealing by emphasizing meaningful renovations such as new flooring system, new railings, rearranged storage, etc. It is a very effective method in small entryway remodel projects since space optimization creates dramatic before-and-after effects.

In order to obtain such outcomes, I tend to apply new materials such as engineered hardwood, porcelain tiles, or textured wall panels. The new lighting lamps contribute to the illumination of spaces that were previously dark, whereas the use of slim-line furniture can be applied to provide more convenience without congesting the area. I change heavy railings to light metal or glass in most remodels to make the rooms open. The entry is more than beautiful; the functional upgrades such as hidden storage cabinets, built-in benches and a well-spaced decoration make the entry efficient.
In my opinion, before-and-after transformations are effective when the after is intuitively pleasing to the user, in other words, when the domestic user is navigating the space, and nothing is out of place or intended. I also tend to give advice to clients based on what designers in Better Homes and Gardens said: The first step in remodeling is to fix a problem, and then make it beautiful. In form follows function, the ultimate solution does not need a speech.
I would put further emphasis on contrast dark vs. light materials, matte vs. gloss finishes and how these options increase the visual effects of the remodel. Lighting control and contrasts may drastically enhance the perception of space on the part of the viewer.
Budget-Friendly Entryway Remodel Solutions for Smart Upgrades
Most homeowners are of the opinion that to renew their entryway needs a significant amount, and entryway remodel on a budget plans upcoming 2026 have proven them wrong. I can start with simple more affordable methods like wall repainting in warm colors, new hardware, or a simple upgrade of a single lighting unit to make the whole place more modern. These minimal updates have a great impact on the feeling of welcome and unity of the entry, especially to split level, split foyer, or raised ranch homes, where the entry is a central point between several places.

In the case of furnishings and design accessories, I give preference to the products that stretch the budget: versatile benches, peel-and-stick walling, inexpensive pendant lighting, and long-lasting, low-cost by quality carpets. Mending stair railings, changing stair runners or changing the front door hardware would also be an amazing addition at little cost. Opened shelves, antiqued furnishing, self-made wall art assist in making the space more personal, without spending too much.
The smart budget remodeling in my professional experience is concerned with where to spend money and where to save it. According to many designers interviewed by Apartment Therapy, it is important to concentrate on the lighting and flooring first of all because these two categories are the ones that would affect the whole atmosphere. In the meantime, decor and accessories may be changed gradually according to the budget.
To reinforce this part even more, I would include suggestions of DIY-based installations, which can be peel-and-stick floor tiles or simple wooden trimming decorations. These low-cost upgrades provide surprisingly high-end results.
Split Foyer Entryway Update Ideas for a Modern Home
A renovation of a split foyer entryway is a concept that needs careful consideration as the area needs to instantly lead to movement up and down the stairs. When giving ideas to homeowners on split foyer remodelling on creating entryway updates projects, I would focus my attention on three principles: simplicity, utility and aesthetics. It is customary in a 2026 update to have increased color palettes, refined stair rails, and purposeful centers in the form of a sculptural pendant or an exaggerated mirror. These will be used to make an otherwise small arrival port a sleek and functional transitional centre.

In order to create this effect of modernity, I choose furniture and finishes that do not obstruct openness. A slim floating platform provides a space to land necessities and not to litter the walkway area. Glass or thin-metal railings will eliminate visual weight besides enhancing safety and style. I use overlay lighting, as well, i.e., pendant lights with wall sconces, to combat the darkness that a lot of the older split foyer houses can have. The continuity is facilitated by the use of textured stair runners, flooring that is cohesive on both levels and the use of a simple wall decor.
Talking with years of experience, the most successful split foyer updates focus on the movement that is intuitive. The natural guidance should be felt as the homeowners are not bombarded with many visuals. According to many design professionals, entryways should have a single hero, be it a dramatic lighting component or artfully done railing. This sparseness creates the impression of a deliberate, not a junky space.
What I would include here is more coverage on the ceiling treatments and vertical accents. Even the little details such as slatted wood ceiling or a color-blocked wall can extend the space to its limits and add more overall effect.
Stairway and Staircase Remodel Ideas to Refresh the Entry
Staircase is the first architectural feature that can be seen when entering a split level or split foyer home hence renovation of a staircase can significantly change the whole entry experience. In any stairway remodel I design, I will focus on visual flow, so that all the lines of the railing, treads, and walls will lead the eye upwards. Trends in 2026 remain to focus on warm woods, open risers, and minimalist metal balustrades, which make split-level entries appear brighter and more open. It is particularly revolutionary in houses whereby the footprint area is small and the foyer is dominated by staircases.

Denser railings, matte-black spindles, treads made of wood are also my recommended choice in my professional practice since they combine low durability and high style. I also use a handrail on the wall which is in the same colors to complete the design. I can also include a landing bench or built in shelf at the base of the stairs, where space permits, to add both functionality and form. These easy inclusions aid in the smoothness of going out to in and to any stair case dreams staircase remodel entryway project.
In my case, it was in staircases where home owners had the best before and after outcomes of remodeling their entrances. Even such well-known designers as Shea McGee stress on the relevance of good materials and seamless lines when it comes to renovating high-impact architectural details. And I totally concur with this: a glossy staircase will immediately turn the older split-entry houses into a modernized house and make them safer and more convenient to use daily.
And further elaborating this section, I would add more information regarding the use of lighting along staircases as the use of treads and sconces on the staircases is becoming increasingly significant in 2026 design.
Small Entryway Remodel Solutions for Maximizing Space
One of the greatest problems of split-level and raised ranch houses is the small foyers. In the design of a small entryway remodel, the primary consideration is the maximization of the vertical surfaces and the unobstructed movement paths. In 2026 multifunction furniture such as slim benches, floating drawers and wall hanged coats take the center stage in remodel on a budget strategies of the entryway. These decisions are the most practical and the space is not bulky.

I also tend to use furniture that is small in size such as a small console table with a round mirror to create a sense of space in the entry. Hooks, shelves, and built-in cubbies would assist in creating an order, but not overcrowding the floor. A mix of robust tiles flooring and plush accent carpets forms a friendly and unified entrance area even in the smallest areas.

At the workplace, I noticed homeowners under-evaluate the effectiveness of deliberate lighting and reflective floors in small foyers. Architectural Digest additionally states that the application of mirrors strategically can enhance perceived space by as much as 40, which is the same case with my own experience. This is why I always use mirrors and a layered lighting in a small-entry remodeling.
Another detail which may be included in this part is the advice on the choice of color palette in compact foyers, particularly, in cases when they are attached to a staircase.
Split Level Entryway Exterior Remodels for Enhanced Curb Appeal
The exterior remodeling has the great impact on the first impressions, particularly in houses of unique split-level entry designs. In doing a split level entryway remodel exterior, I will emphasize enhancing symmetry, usability of walkways, and updating old aspects of the facade. Trends in natural stone steps, wide contemporary railings, warm-colored siding, are all the new trends that can immediately boost curb appeal in 2026.

I would rather incorporate the use of modern door designs, canopies overheads, and LED pathway lights to make it look like a nice experience even before entering the street. Co-ordinated exterior materials: composite wood, matte metal, and stucco assist in creating a unity between the exterior design. In cases where the entry is elevated above the ground level, which is typical of raised ranch and split-entry houses, I tend to specify wider stairs in order to make the entry appear less steep and more accessible.

Homeowners in my experience are fond of the dramatic change of making exterior stairs and railing better. According to several of exterior design experts in the U.S., lighting and door style are the most influential and I have always observed that to be the case in my own projects. Such details may transform an old appearance and render it an architectural and deliberate one.
Should the need arise, I may be able to add to this section by discussing landscaping improvements which will facilitate the visibility and emphasize the reshaped entry.
Split Level Entryway Improvements for a Cohesive Home Design
Changing the entranceway into the logical continuation of the rest of the interior is one of the most rewarding tasks in a split-level home. I will always look at the surrounding habitation spaces when undertaking split level remodel entryway schemes and how the staircase would relate to the general planning. Homeowners are moving toward a uniform flooring, reduced color choices, and flowing lines of design that designate the main door into the room with the rest of the spaces.

I also use a lot of details such as continuous wood flooring, same railings, and same accent colors to give the home a purposive appearance. Storage items:Things like hidden drawers or smooth-lined shoe storage are used to keep things in place where they normally get messy. This design also makes sure that the open concepts homes are not so discrete by the fact that they are not fragmented.
Through experience, the most effective outcomes would be achieved through considering the entryway as a feature of the building rather than an add-on. There is a great deal of consensus among experts that the foyer design needs to facilitate the movement of the home as much as possible because the more adaptable it should be the more timeless it will be. I have discovered that the links between material and colors in and between levels make the house look more open and contemporary.
To grow bigger, I would include the examples of more connective design factors, like shared lighting styles or wall paneling, that would bind the upper and lower floors.
Split Entry Exterior Remodel Ideas for a More Welcoming Entrance
Split entry homes also have a sequence of exterior steps that run straight to the front door and therefore the entrance should be safe, proportional and friendly. When I am working on split entry remodel entryway exterior works, my emphasis is on how to balance between the walkway and door using symmetrical architectural elements. The trend landscape in 2026 consists of oversized front porch, a combination of metal-and wood railing systems, and dull earth-tone exterior.

Mechanically speaking, the landing area can be improved by adding more attractive and safe lighting, enlarging the stairs, and updating the landing space. I also prefer using strong materials such as composite decking, stone veneers and fiberglass front doors since they are long lasting but can be refined in terms of appearance as well as they do not need lots of maintenance.

At work, the most dramatic of the before-and-after changes have been done by a change in the overhang, or the addition of a small roofed-in above the door. Numerous exterior designers of the U.S. suggest using vertical lines on split entry exteriors as a means of balancing the compressed effect of such houses. I concur with this a great deal–vertical accentuates give prominence and stature to the building.
In case of expansion, I could provide advice on selecting exterior house numbers and hardware that will match the new entry design.
Entryway Staircase Remodel Innovations for 2026
The future of 2026 entryway staircase remodel is all about integrating engineering, aesthetics and functionality. In remodeling the area of the entryway staircase remodel I would add features that would make the area more open, including floating steps, cable railings or glass railings and lightened geometric angles. Such modern extensions serve well in older split-level houses in which heavy wood railings used to prevail on the entrance.

My signature choice is always the hardwood treads in warm shades, with simple balusters and unobtrusive LED lamps beneath each step. Not only do these aspects provide a smooth modern appearance, but they also enhance safety and visibility to a large extent. The design is made up of a coordinated handrail constructed in matching wood or black metal that does not overpower space.
I have discovered that staircases that have a sculptural quality are now attracting much attention by homeowners. Dwell writes that staircases are becoming more of a functional artistic piece, a trend of which I have observed the remodelling priorities of 2026. I also usually ask clients to consider their staircase as an opportunity of design rather than a point of transit.
In the event of expansion, I would include recommendations on integrating stairway upgrades with the surrounding accent walls in order to have a complete visual effect.
Raised Ranch Exterior Entryway Upgrades for Modern Homes
Raised ranch houses have special entryway issues because of the raised main level and small exterior footprint. Designing a raised ranch remodel exterior entryway update, I concentrate on the architectural balance which is extending the entrance space to more visual accessibility. Garage dwellers are not keen on traditional exterior that is many years old; they prefer broader staircases, contemporary railing profiles, and simplified horizontal siding in 2026 to renew the aged exteriors of such houses.

I also tend to use composite decking on stairs and have a combination of black metal or cable railings to make it crisp modern. The exterior is also very well polished with new outer lighting, large format house numbers, and warm wood front doors giving the impression of a welcoming exterior. Where space available allows, the elevated character of the entry can be made more welcoming by including a small front porch or platform that offers a more inviting second area.
Ranch remodels always have the most rewarding before and after outcomes. Most of the reputable renovation scholars have pointed out on the significance of entry symmetry, a rule that I find to be most helpful. It is a design that makes the entire facade look more consistent and classy by synchronizing windows, stair rails, and door design.
In the event of expansion, I would incorporate knowledge regarding picking up of porch materials that resist weather conditions in the region.
Entryway Closet Remodel Ideas for Better Storage and Function
When coming to a remodel entryway closet project, the first thing that I will always start with is to determine how the household really uses the space-coats, shoes, sports equipment, daily needs or everything. Split level, split entry and raised ranch houses have closets that are either very slim or badly designed, making them a high-priority upgrade in 2026. I intend to turn such closets into effective, user-friendly storage spaces that will minimize clutter and improve circulation as soon as you enter them.

Price adjustable shelving systems, pull-out drawers, and doubling of the hanging rod heights to use as much vertical space as possible are the common additions I make. Even large homes that have many people around have shoe organizers, built-in lightings, and labeled bins to keep order. In a closet that is not deep, to provide more space, swinging doors may be substituted with smooth sliding panels or removed altogether to make it a niche of a mudroom. These adjustments accommodate as many as possible entryway requirements without overcrowding the small area normally available in a house that needs a small entryway remodel.

As an experience, homeowners are the most satisfied with having a contained, operational space where everything has its place finally. A lot of interior experts of the U.S. underline that organized home is supported by efficient storage, and I can agree to this point entirely. An entry closet will alter daily routines in a dramatic way, particularly when it involves split foyer entryway remodel concepts to update the entryway.
In case of extending this section, I would provide information concerning the use of moisture resistant materials on closet floor and shelves so that they last long where the outerwear can be found to gather.
Lighting Ideas That Transform Entryways in Split-Level Homes
One of the most revolutionary factors in any entryway remodel is lighting particularly in houses that have a split foyer or raised ranch configuration where natural light may be insufficient. In creating lighting plans in 2026 entryway remodel thoughts, I would work towards providing more light to the vertical surface and staircases to enhance light inside the house and to have a welcoming atmosphere that will be remembered throughout the house. Layered lighting, ambient, task and accent lighting is the standard of attaining both functionality and ambiance.

My overall rule of thumb is to install statement lights, including modern chandeliers or geometric pendants, in taller foyers, and install flushed or semi-flush lights in smaller entries. LED strip lighting stair treads is a very efficient addition to stairway conception staircase remodel entryway designs. The architecture of a split entry layout may also be characterized by wall sconces that channel the movement by default towards the higher and lower levels.
As a professional, I have observed that dramatic entry way remodel before and after effects is usually achieved through strategic placement of lighting. Colors and temperature are something that the industry experts who work in the lighting industry, such as House Beautiful, will always point out, warm whites are most inviting at the entrance. I use this advice in most of my work since it always provides a well-rounded and contemporary outcome.
Adding to this topic, I would explain how intelligent lighting controllers can provide more convenience and at the same time be energy-saving, and this is becoming one of the priorities with homeowners.
Trending Colors and Materials Defining 2026 Entryway Remodels
The use of color and materials has a significant impact on the entryway modernity, and 2026 is characterized by an elegant palette that matches well with split-level design. I am inclined to earthly neutrals, warm wood tones, and small textures that help to make relaxing yet elegant environments when working on split level remodel entryway or entryway staircase remodel update. Such options assist in integrating spaces at a variety of levels, which is necessary in split entry and raised ranch houses.

Oak, walnut, textured plaster, terrazzo, and matte metal finishes are some of the materials that are also common in my remodels. I also use durable porcelain tile where there is a lot of movement such as around the exterior doors. The furnishings such as solid wood benches, soft carpets, and metal-framed mirrors complete the appearance by bringing the place back to the earth and providing functional beauty. These choices may be used in addition to low-cost remodels and expensive changes.
In my view the most interesting 2026 designs are ones that do not take the opposite of this to extremes. According to the Elle Decor design professionals, cool metals and warm woods should be combined to create a balanced modern look and I agree with them. The combination of materials makes the entryways look refreshing, timeless, and they have a relationship with the rest of the home.
Giving more detail, I would add more information on how this combination of materials can be efficient in designing multifunctional transitional space.
